My parents bought a Kodak Ektralite in the 1980s. I remember seeing it as a child, locked away in a cupboard at home, safely inside a pouch made from an old sock. I learnt later that y father had stitched it specifically for the camera. I don’t remember thinking I would ever use it, even years after I started taking photography more seriously. In 2018, I stumbled upon it on my trip home. On the internet, I realised that the 110mm film that the camera used had gone out of production years ago. Lomography had, in recent years, re-introduced the film to the market; so I decided to buy some colour negatives to try them out. The camera has travelled with me for the last four years.

In 2022, a 1960 Spotmatic SP1000 was added to the kit.
